I'm a city girl. Always have been, always will be. I love the life, energy and variety that living in a city gives to me.  I also love architecture and history so exploring these forgotten places is a perfect match for me. My hometown has a fantastic architectural heritage that is in danger of being lost forever. Photographing these places has also awakened a desire in me to do more for neighborhoods that are struggling, to look beyond the obvious decay and ask harder questions of why this is happening to our cities and what can be done to help.
